The Original version prohibited interactive computer services from using an algorithmic system to select, recommend, prioritize, or amplify material harmful to minors for delivery or display to a minor account. This prohibition was removed in the Enrolled version, meaning platforms are no longer restricted from algorithmically surfacing third-party content that is harmful to minors.

The Original version structured the prohibition as a list of two items (delivering self-created harmful material AND using algorithms to surface harmful material). The Enrolled version reduced this to a single prohibition limited to delivering or displaying material harmful to minors that was created or developed, in whole or in part, by the interactive computer service itself.
