RETIREMENT/MUNICIPAL POL: Provides relative to the deferred retirement option plan of the Municipal Police Employees' Retirement System (EN SEE ACTUARAL NOTE APV)

Extended participation is now restricted to officers who began the DROP before July 1, 2024, elected a maximum three-year participation period, and are still active in the plan on July 1, 2025.

The deadline to elect the extension was changed from August 1, 2025, to July 1, 2025, aligning the election date with the start of the new fiscal year.
