AN ACT relating to elections.

This bill amends Kentucky election law to clarify procedures for handling disputes over a voter's right to vote. It requires voters whose eligibility is questioned to sign a written oath confirming their qualifications before being allowed to cast a ballot. The signed oaths are then sent to county clerks and investigated by Commonwealth's attorneys, who may summon witnesses to a grand jury to review the votes and pursue charges against those found to have voted illegally. The bill also specifies that the State Board of Elections must provide 20 printed copies of these oath forms to each precinct's election supplies.
