AN ACT relating to short-term rentals.

SB 81 authorizes Kentucky cities, counties, and other local governments to create their own rules for short-term rentals (like Airbnb or vacation rentals), which are defined as properties rented for less than 30 days. The bill does not impose statewide rules but allows local governments to establish registries, require licenses or fees, restrict locations, limit the number of rentals, or set occupancy requirements.
