AN ACT relating to health benefit coverage for tobacco cessation treatment. Create a new section of Subtitle 17A of KRS Chapter 304 to require insurance coverage for United States Food and Drug Administration-approved tobacco cessation medicines and services recommended by the United States Preventive Services Task Force; specify restrictions and limits of coverage; create a new section of KRS Chapter 205 to require Medicaid coverage for United States Food and Drug Administration-approved tobacco cessation medication and services recommended by the United States Preventive Services Task Force; specify restrictions and limits of coverage.
