AN ACT relating to civil actions involving sexual misconduct. Create a new section of KRS Chapter 413 to extend the civil statute of limitations for an illness or injury suffered as a result of an act or series of acts against a person 18 years or older that meets the criteria of an offense under KRS Chapters 510, 529, 530, or 531 to five years unless the civil defendant was convicted of the offense, in which case there is no statute of limitations.
