AN ACT relating to the reorganization of the Finance and Administration Cabinet. Create new sections of KRS Chapter 42 to establish the Division of Special Investigations within the Office of Inspector General; establish the duties of the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs; amend KRS 12.020 and 42.0145 to establish the Office of Inspector General and the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs within the Office of the Secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet; delete references to the Office of Public Information; amend KRS 131.020 to create within the Department of Revenue, the Office of Tax Policy and Regulation and the Division of Protest Resolution, the heads of which shall report directly to the commissioner; abolish the Division of Protest Resolution within the Office of Processing and Enforcement; confirm Executive Order 2016-602.
