AN ACT relating to third-party service providers of depository institutions. Create a new section of Subtitle 1 of KRS Chapter 286 to define "commissioner" and "department" for the chapter; create a new section of Subtitle 2 of KRS Chapter 286 to subject third-party service providers of depository institutions to regulation and examination by the Department of Financial Institutions; allow the commissioner to charge fees for the cost of examinations; make confidential any reports of examination, except under certain circumstances; allow the commissioner to enter into cooperative agreements with other state of federal agencies to facilitate examinations.
