Requiring the department of wildlife and parks to offer a discounted resident senior combination hunting and fishing license to residents of Kansas who are 65 years of age or older and increasing the maximum age to qualify for the Kansas kids lifetime combination hunting and fishing license and decreasing the maximum fee and removing the expiration of such license.

The maximum fee for children aged 5 and under was changed from a fixed $300 to 1/3 of the general combination lifetime hunting and fishing license fee.

The maximum fee for children aged 6 through 15 was changed from a fixed $400 to 1/2 of the general combination lifetime hunting and fishing license fee.

The effective date of the act was updated to take effect from and after the start of the 2026 session.

Establishes a new resident senior combination hunting and fishing license for Kansas residents aged 65 and older, with a fee capped at 1/8 of the general lifetime license fee.

Reduces the maximum fee for the 'Kansas Kids' lifetime combination hunting and fishing license from $500 to $400 for children aged six through 15.

Removes the expiration date for the 'Kansas Kids' lifetime combination hunting and fishing license, making it permanent.

Repeals the existing section of K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 32-9,101 to clear the way for the updated statutory language.
