Starting July 1, 2026, the amendment requires transferring $5.5 million to the water technical assistance fund and $12.5 million to the water projects grant fund from the state water plan fund.
The amendment clarifies that upon expiration in 2031, all remaining funds and liabilities in the temporary funds must be transferred to the state water plan fund before the temporary funds are abolished.
