MINOR
The bill was converted from a House bill (HB) to a Senate bill (SB) and updated with new tracking numbers and dates. The most significant substantive change is the effective date, which was moved from July 1, 2025, to April 23, 2057, likely a placeholder or clerical error. Additionally, the specific dollar amounts appropriated for funding the pilot program were removed from the text, leaving blank lines for the legislature to fill in later.
Scope change
The bill's scope regarding guardianship services remains unchanged, but the funding mechanism is now incomplete as specific appropriation amounts were deleted.
TIMELINE
The effective date of the Act was changed from July 1, 2025, to April 23, 2057.
FISCAL
Specific appropriation amounts of $100,000 for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 were removed from the text.
TECHNICAL
The bill type was updated from HB to SB, and associated metadata such as revision numbers and dates were changed to reflect Senate processing.
