RELATING TO CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS.
What changed between versions
The definition of who is subject to contribution restrictions was broadened to include state and county grantees, not just contractors.
New reporting requirements were added to mandate the submission of names for officers and immediate family members of both contractors and grantees.
A new subsection requires state and county offices to provide a list of contractor and grantee officers and family members to the election commission for public disclosure.
The financial threshold for mandatory public disclosure of these relationships was established at $100,000 for goods/services and $250,000 for construction.
The list of exceptions to contribution prohibitions was updated to explicitly include the officers and immediate family members of grantees.
