A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act changing the compensation of the clerk of the superior court, the sheriff, and the judge of the Probate Court of Cobb County from the fee system to the salary system, approved February 9, 1949 (Ga. L. 1949, p. 427), as amended, so as to provide that the salaries of the chief deputy sheriff, the assistant chief deputy sheriff, and the executive assistant to the sheriff shall be determined by the sheriff of Cobb County; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

L. 1986, p. 4902), as amended, particularly by an Act approved April 4, 1991 (Ga. L. 1991, p. 4498) and an Act approved April 5, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 4503), so as to provide for a city manager; to revise the powers and duties of city council committees, the mayor, and department directors to reflect the establishment of a city manager; to provide for the appointment, removal, and powers of the city manager and city council; to provide for an acting city manager; to prohibit mayor and council interference with the administration of the city departments; to revise provisions related to the hiring and removal of department directors; to provide for related matters; to provide for effective dates; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 20-2-161 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Quality Basic Education Formula, so as to require the task force reviewing the effectiveness of existing program weights under the "Quality Basic Education Act" to meet every two years rather than every three years; to require such task force to prepare and submit a report; to provide for the requirements of such report; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION urging condominium associations, property owners' associations, and any other corporations or voluntary entities formed for the purpose of exercising the powers of a homeowners' or property owners' association governing a common interest community to provide transparency to members of such associations; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 20E of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the "Surprise Billing Consumer Protection Act," so as to provide for insurance coverage for certain out-of-network ambulance transportation service; to provide for the minimum allowable reimbursement rate for such service; to provide for maximum amounts on copayments, coinsurance, or deductibles for such service; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
