Philadelphia Baptist Church; recognize and commend

This Senate resolution formally recognizes and commends Philadelphia Baptist Church on the occasion of its 153rd anniversary. The bill honors the church's history, from its founding in 1873 to the completion of its new building in 2007 and the planned payoff of its mortgage in 2026. It also acknowledges the contributions of numerous past and present pastors and members who have helped the organization grow. The Senate will distribute a copy of this resolution to the church to celebrate its long-standing service to the community.
