Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta; recognize

This resolution (SR 28) is a symbolic gesture formally recognizing the 51st anniversary of the Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta. The resolution highlights existing connections, including $7.65 billion in annual trade, 514 Japanese-affiliated offices in Georgia, and sister-city relationships across the state. It was adopted by the Georgia Senate in January 2025 as a ceremonial acknowledgment of the consulate's contributions.
