Joint Study Committee on Higher Education Fiscal Stewardship; create

This bill creates a temporary Joint Study Committee on Higher Education Fiscal Stewardship to review the financial management of Georgia's university system. The committee will consist of ten members, with five appointed by the House Speaker and five by the Senate President, who will also serve as co-chairs. Its main task is to examine audit reports and other data to identify financial risks and trends, then submit a report with recommendations for improving fiscal oversight before being dissolved in December 2026.
