A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 31 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the regulation of hospitals and related institutions, so as to provide for the Department of Community Health to license supportive senior housing communities; to provide for COVID-19 requirements; to provide for employer based programs; to provide for influenza education information; to provide for residential care facilities for the elderly; to provide for hospice and palliative care; to provide background checks; to provide for the ombudsman program; to provide for remedies and protections of residents; to provide for the drug repository program; to provide for continuing care providers and facilities; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
