Added a new exemption for current emergency department physicians, their spouses, and their children younger than 26 years of age.

Removed exemptions for law enforcement personnel, Department of Financial Services investigators, Office of Financial Regulation investigators, and firefighters.

Requires agencies that are not the physician's employer to maintain the exemption only upon receiving a written, notarized request from the individual confirming their eligibility.

Set the effective date for the exemption as July 1, 2026, and established a sunset review provision requiring legislative action by October 2, 2031, to continue the exemption.

Added a specific definition for 'emergency department physician' as a physician licensed under chapters 458 or 459 whose duties are performed in a hospital emergency department licensed under chapter 395.
