AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 31 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ELIGIBILITY FOR CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE.

The House Amendment's expansion of automatic Purchase of Care eligibility to include children DSCYF certifies as otherwise in need (e.g., kinship or fictive kin placements) was removed. The final bill only provides automatic eligibility upon placement in foster care.

A new subsection (c) requires the Department of Health and Social Services to promulgate regulations on verification processes for eligibility, including required documents, in coordination with DSCYF.
