SB 1054 would streamline Connecticut's medical licensure process for qualified foreign-trained physicians who legally migrated to the U.S. It allows them to receive provisional licenses if their overseas training is comparable to U.S. standards, followed by unrestricted licenses after two years of supervision by a Connecticut-licensed physician.
