AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR HOUSING SERVICES.

HB 5808 appropriates $20 million from the General Fund for homelessness services in the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The bill allocates specific funds to the Department of Housing for cold weather emergency response ($5M), shelter/outreach capacity ($6M), diversion programs ($3.6M), the Coordinated Access Network ($2M), and housing subsidies ($2M). An additional $1.4 million is directed to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for housing and homeless services support.
