Funding for Memorials on State Capitol Grounds

Oversight of the trust fund was moved from the Department of Personnel to the State Historical Society.
A Preservation Trust Committee was re-established with four specific members, including representatives from the Board of Veterans Affairs, the Capitol Building Advisory Committee, and the Department of Personnel.
Funds gifted or donated specifically for approved objects of art or memorials on the Capitol grounds are now continuously appropriated to the State Historical Society for their lifetime maintenance.
