TO RECOGNIZE THE VAN BUREN HIGH SCHOOL POINTERS WRESTLING TEAM AS THE 2025-2026 CLASS 5A DUAL AND TEAM STATE CHAMPIONS AND THE LADY POINTERS WRESTLING TEAM AS BACK-TO-BACK CLASS 5A STATE RUNNERS-UP.

This Senate resolution formally recognizes the Van Buren High School wrestling teams for their achievements in the 2025-2026 Arkansas State Wrestling Tournament. The bill honors the boys' Pointers team as the Class 5A dual and team state champions and the girls' Lady Pointers team as the state runners-up. Additionally, it acknowledges the coaching staff and presents a copy of the resolution to the coaches as a gesture of appreciation.
