TO RECOGNIZE COACH VAN COMPTON ON HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND IMPACT THROUGHOUT HER FIFTY-ONE-YEAR COACHING CAREER; AND TO CONGRATULATE HER ON HER RETIREMENT AND INDUCTION INTO THE ARKANSAS SPORTS HALL OF FAME.

Senate Resolution 31 formally recognizes Coach Van Compton for her fifty-one-year career in women's athletics and congratulates her on her retirement and induction into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame. The resolution highlights her achievements, including leading the University of Arkansas at Little Rock women's volleyball program to multiple conference championships and a historic perfect regular season. It directs the Secretary of the Senate to present a copy of the resolution to Coach Compton, the university's athletics department, and the Little Rock Juniors Volleyball Club.
