TO RECOGNIZE THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF ARKANSAS FOR ITS LONGSTANDING LEADERSHIP IN CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, VOTER EDUCATION, AND SERVICE TO THE STATE OF ARKANSAS, AND TO RECOGNIZE LEAGUE DAY AT THE CAPITOL.

This Senate resolution honors the League of Women Voters of Arkansas for its long history of nonpartisan civic engagement and voter education. It formally recognizes the organization's role in helping Arkansans understand government processes and encourages constructive dialogue with elected officials. The bill also designates a specific day at the state Capitol as "League Day" to celebrate the group's contributions to democracy. Because this is a commemorative measure rather than a law, it does not create new rules or change how the government operates.
