Fishing; Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources prohibited from adopting slot limit rule for tournaments on Coosa River under certain conditions

This bill prohibits Alabama's Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources from banning the possession of fish above certain sizes in fishing tournaments on the Coosa River unless the commissioner provides evidence that prior restocking efforts in that area failed. It specifically applies to tournaments on the Coosa River (including its reservoirs) and requires proof of failed restocking before any size restrictions can be imposed. The law would take effect on October 1, 2025.
