79th Southern Legislative Conference of the Council of State Governments Southern Office, commemorative resolution

This resolution commends the Council of State Governments Southern Office (CSG South) for hosting the 79th Southern Legislative Conference in Birmingham, Alabama, July 19-23, 2025. It formally welcomes over 1,500 Southern legislators, staff, and officials from 15 states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia) to the conference. As a symbolic gesture, it recognizes CSG South’s role in fostering regional cooperation but does not create new laws or policy changes.
